LondonLink Client Update: Navigating New CryptoAsset Regulations in the UK

We're committed to keeping you informed about regulatory changes that impact your experience with us. The United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)  has recently introduced new guidelines for cryptoassets. As a response, starting from mid-December 2023, our UK-based clients will notice some updates in the way you interact with LondonLink's offerings.

To comply with these new regulations, we're introducing a straightforward assessment questionnaire and a choice for self-categorisation. This step is crucial to ensure you continue enjoying uninterrupted access to all LondonLink services.

What's New for You?

  • New UK Clients: Expect an assessment questionnaire and self-categorisation process during account setup.
  • Existing UK Clients: You'll be prompted to complete these steps at your next login.

To avoid any service interruptions, we kindly ask all clients to complete the questionnaire by 3 January 2024. Until this date, you can use all LondonLink services as usual. After this date, completion of the questionnaire will be mandatory in order to continue to use LondonLink’s services.

If the Questionnaire Poses a Challenge

Should you not pass the questionnaire on the first try, you can immediately try again. A 24-hour wait period is required after a second unsuccessful attempt. To help you, we've prepared educational content that will deepen your understanding of the risks involved in crypto trading.
